Open House for New Bessemer Clinic

The Birmingham VA Medical Center opened its seventh Outpatient Clinic in Bessemer, Alabama in May 2007. The clinic is located at 975 9th Avenue SW, Suite 400 (4th Floor) at UAB Medical Center West in Bessemer. An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony took place on May 30, 2007 with Congressman Artur Davis, as the keynote speaker.

Hours of operation are from 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The services provided at the clinic include:

  • Primary Care
  • Mental Health Services
  • Optometry
  • On-site lab available
  • Valet Parking at the hospital entrance
